First of all WOW, this is an amazing capture. This photo tells a story without saying anything.
The title is perfect and the subject is really photogenic in a photo journalism type way.
I really enjoy this photo and I think it's one of the best I have seen today.
The only thing I would have liked to see is him as a whole, by that I mean with the feet. I also think that if it was centered a little better and you cropped the very top where the water is blurred out it would have made for a even better photo but overall this is an amazing capture and for me to want to write a critique because it's that good is saying something. :D
WELL DONE

Absolutely wonderful capture. A lot of intense emotion radiates from this. I think the only change I would actually make is turn it black and white. Would give it a timeless appeal!

I love this photo as well, as a matter of fact it was so good and so emotional that I had to write a critique on it.
I see that you think it would have been better in black and white, they did put it in black and white and to be honest at least in my opinion I think the colored one is much better and captures more emotion. I can see how black and white to some people might capture more emotion because let's face it, black and white just seems do to that for most photo's but in this case I truly think the colored is better.

Thank you so very much...I was immediately drawn to his eyes and knew I had to capture what I saw. Here it is in BW [link] ...not sure which one I like best.

I like the colored one for sure, don't get me wrong the black and whit is good but in this case I love the colored one more. In most cases, black and white seems to make a photo like this one more dramatic but I think colored for sure. :D
